Voting System Performance Rating (VSPR) is focused on defining objective ways to measure the performance of voting systems. VSPR comprises experts from a wide range of voting-related fields, including election officials, social scientists, technologists, vendors, advocates and standards body members.
VSPR operates openly. Anyone can become a member of the non-voting at-large Council Group and participate in Working Groups. And, as all VSPR records are publicly available irrespective of membership, anyone is free to subscribe the Council Group or Working Group mailing lists and review all documents on this site, including the complete list archives.
Any qualified person is entitled to membership in one of the voting Council Groups which are responsible for governance and for confirming VSPR's RFR standards. The membership confirmation process is subject to an application procedure and Council Group vote and includes the possibility of appeal.
